Fifth Third Processing Solutions, LLC, Cincinnati, OH: May 2010 - Jun. 2010

Filled the role of Sr. Technical Advisor on behalf of an IBM Business Partner. Customer inherited workload and servers from Fifth Third Bank and needed to inventory these hosts with a focus on software licensing. The Oracle licensing year end was approaching and this information was required to re-negotiate licensing contracts.

Created a SOW for the overall project that was divided into the following phases:

Phase 1: Discovery - determine the existing physical and logical host configurations, with a focus on software licensing.

Phase 2: Consolidation Analysis - analyze historical CPU and memory utilization and formulate consolidation layout plan. This included the hardware requirements and the resulting software licensing status

Phase 3: Migration - migrate hosts to new or existing hardware based on the layout determined in Phase 2
